Product Description
For the past three decades, many history professors have allowed their biases to distort the way America?s past is taught. These intellectuals have searched for instances of racism, sexism, and bigotry in our history while downplaying the greatness of America?s patriots and the achievements of "dead white men."

As a result, more emphasis is placed on Harriet Tubman than on George Washington; more about the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II than about D-Day or Iwo Jima; more on the dangers we faced from Joseph McCarthy than those we faced from Josef Stalin.

A Patriot?s History of the United States corrects those doctrinaire biases. In this groundbreaking book, America?s discovery, founding, and development are reexamined with an appreciation for the elements of public virtue, personal liberty, and private property that make this nation uniquely successful. This book offers a long-overdue acknowledgment of America?s true and proud history.

Finally history without Political Correctness 2010-09-06
William D. Faulk (baton rouge, LA USA)
Finally history without Political Correctness, its been a long time since Ive enjoyed reading a general history of these United States sans the agendas of PC forced on it. Do yourself a huge favor and invest your capital and time in this book!

I give the work four stars since anything can be improved so nothing really rates the perfection of five stars.

started "ok" but then downhill 2010-08-28
Christopher A. Mills (Shreveport , LA USA)
1st of all I agree with the author's basic premis that many of today's works of history have a horrible anti-American bias from left wing nuts who live off the government dole on tenur at our universities. This book started out ok but went down hill as one gets closer to the present. By the time one gets to Reagan and Clinton forget about any objective reasoning. The final 150 pages of this book can be summed up as Republican/ Conservative=good; Democrat/ Liberal= bad. If the author were to spend the last 50 pages merely repeating that phrase over and over again, he would fufill his purpose. I do not care to waste my time with a "history" written by either Micheal Moore or Rush Limbaugh.

The seashell sellers went out of their way and very quickly handled a problem I had with the delivery of this item. I am delighted with their service and with the book.
